Claudia Ferreira has practiced in London's most reputable clinics and along side well known Osteopaths and Physiotherapists. She now ventures in opening her own health centre offering her signature treatment: the combination of Traditional Acupuncture with Sport Massage. She was born in Brazil and raised for most of her teenage years in America. Her upbringing led her to travel extensively, living and working in several different countries. This experience has given her valuable insight and understanding of different cultures and helped her to come in contact with a variety of therapeutic skills. Her desire to work as a therapist came from 12 years of competitive swimming at international level! Her body constantly had to be 'fixed' and from a young age health and fitness became a conscious and important part of her everyday life. It was whilst living in London she decided to hone her knowledge and gain professional qualifications. Claudia’s qualifications include a Diploma in Sports Therapy and a BAsc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council – the regulating body for acupuncture in the UK and she specialises in muscular-skeletal dysfunctions. With more than 10 years of experience, today she is a professional Sports Therapist and Acupuncturist combining both practices into one session achieving excellent results! The areas we cover are East London, City of London, Liverpool Street and the postcodes E1, EC1, EC2, EC3, and EC4. |
